No More Words

No More Words exists as a series of overflowing porcelain cylinders and saggar fired books. The work is an attempt to conjure tipping points. It is an exploration of boundary lines, divisions and points of no return. Through the addition of varying degrees of flux and heat to a porcelain clay body moments of overflow have been captured. Books have been fired in saggars within the kiln, carbonized, the words on the pages no longer accessible.
